To consolidate our learning about the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age in history, we visited Flag Fen in Peterborough.  We crushed berries and used the natural paint to create pictures on stones alongside chalk and charcoal.  We also had a go at building our own wattle and daub wall before creating our own clay pot.  Inside, we got the chance to handle some artefacts from Prehistory and in the afternoon we went inside a replica round house and had a go at throwing wooden spears to hunt a deer.  Many of us described it as the best day ever!
