As part of our growing topic, we have read the story of 'The Little Red Hen' and have been learning about food which farmers grow. We have been looking at what windmills are, what they are used for and how they work, taking our understanding of growing wheat that can be turned into flour to make our very own bread. The children enjoyed a delicious slice or two!
