Minibeast Hunt

This term the children are learning about all the different Minibeasts that live in the world around us. We had a wonderful time today exploring the outdoor area on a minibeast hunt! Armed with magnifying glasses and lots of curiosity, the children searched carefully under leaves, around logs, and in grassy areas to discover the tiny creatures living in our environment. We spotted a variety of minibeasts, including worms, snails, spiders, and woodlice, ants, ladybirds, butterflies and even a centipede. The children enjoyed talking about what they found, observing how the minibeasts moved, and learning why these creatures are important for nature.
