The children have been learning about Space and we have read the story 'Whatever next' which is all about a bear who went to the moon and had a picnic. The children enjoyed making some moon rock cakes to take with them to the moon to join the bears picnic. They all had a turn at helping make the cakes and particularly enjoyed eating them at the end of the day whilst listening to a story.
