As part of our growing topic, we have read the story of 'The Little Red Hen' and have been learning about food which farmers grow. We have learnt about what windmills are and what they are used for. We've taken our understanding of growing wheat and how it can be turned into flour to make our very own bread. The children enjoyed eating slice or two at the end of the day! Thumbs up all round!
