The children had a fantastic time taking part in an exciting online Gruffalo Granny workshop. During the event, they were delighted to hear from the creators of the beloved Gruffalo stories, author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler, who talked about their brand-new story and shared insights into their creative process. The children also enjoyed following a step-by-step drawing session to learn how to draw Gruffalo Granny, before watching a wonderful theatrical retelling of the original The Gruffalo. The highlight of the workshop was a special sneak peek of the new book, giving the children the opportunity to be among the first to hear the story. It was an engaging and inspiring experience that brought the magic of reading, storytelling and illustration to life.
