As part of our learning about states of matter and caring for the environment, we visited the FCC Environment centre in Lincoln to learn about sustainability and how they turn general waster into electricity.

The children completed three activities through the day:

Activity 1: to explore the process of how a Kinder egg is made to make the process more environmentally friendly.

Activity 2: to explore and create more environmentally friendly packaging for a toy.

Activity 3: a tour of the centre and finding out about what the team do at FCC Environment.
