As part of their Ancient Egypt topic, the children in Mr Read's class had a theme day based around the famous pharaoh, Tutankhamun. They started the day by researching 8 pharaohs who ruled in either the old, middle or new Egypt kingdoms and then designed their own sarcophagus.

 Then, they had the exciting opportunity to visit a recreation of King Tutankhamun's tomb. Upon arriving at the tomb, they were greeted by famous Egyptologist and Archaeologist, Howard Carter. They explored artefacts inside the tomb. 

Later in the day, the children explored theories around Tutankhamun's death.
