Today, the children in Miss Hemstock's class, learned all about mummification in Ancient Egypt by mummifying oranges. The children followed similar steps to what the Egyptians used and will be checking the oranges weekly to see what happens to their pharaoh fruit! Afterwards, as a treat for their hard work, the children practiced turning their team members into mummies!
