Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Mr Read's class had an awesome day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The children were respectful at all times and represented the school brilliantly. The aim of the trip was to enhance their learning and understanding of our science topic: Living Things and Their Habitats. It also allowed them to broaden their ideas on our current writing topic — A discussion text entitled: Should animals be kept at zoos?
Whilst at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, the children got to see animals such as tigers, lions, polar bears, giraffes, rhinos and zebras. They had a lesson with a Park Ranger on animal habitats. Also, the children got the chance to go inside the lemur enclosure and see them up close.
