Catch-up premium
In the 2020-21 academic year, children experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The government provided funding to support children and young people to catch up. This included a one-off universal catch-up premium to ensure that schools had the support they needed to help all pupils make up for lost teaching time.
Our catch-up funding strategy, for 2020-21 academic year, can be viewed below.
We have carried over £4,398 of the catch-up premium grant from 2020-21. This unspent funding from 2020-21 will be used in the 2021-22 academic year. Details of this have been included in our pupil premium and recovery plan.
